About Margie Villalobos
Margie Villalobos, originally from Haskell, Texas, stands as a pillar of compassion and legal prowess within the Villalobos Law Firm. As the third of eight children in a family where her father’s immigrant journey played a foundational role, Margie developed an early passion for advocating for those seeking the American dream. This passion propelled her through a full-ride scholarship at The University of Texas at Austin School of Law, leading to a distinguished career in law.
Margie’s legal expertise is deeply rooted in personal injury law, but her heart has always been with immigration law, a field where she has dedicated herself to helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of the legal system. Her commitment to her clients mirrors the dedication she has to her family, managing to balance the demands of her profession with raising four children whom she now works alongside.
Margie’s influence extends beyond her legal work; she is an active member of her church and engages in various community service activities, reflecting her belief in the power of giving back. Her approach to law and life is guided by the principle that family and community are intertwined, and her efforts to keep families together through her immigration work are a testament to her commitment to this ideal.
Growing up, I saw a lot of injustices and decided I would become someone who fights and speaks out against injustices.

My favorite part about being an attorney is seeing the joy when I’m able to help a client. If I’m representing someone that has been detained and is fighting to stay in U.S., and they’re allowed to continue living here, that brings a lot of satisfaction to me as an attorney. A lot of times, the cases I handle are a matter of life or death. Being deported to their home country, for some people, can mean great danger.
I do my best to help every person who comes across my path. I care about my clients and do everything within my power and within the legal system to help.
