The Edinburg Auto Accident
According to the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), a Sheriff’s Office patrol unit was involved in an accident with a motorcycle and a truck in Edinburg on Thursday, September 21. The accident happened at the intersection of Farm-to-Market (FM) 1925 and McColl Road.
On Thursday afternoon, a truck was traveling behind a motorcycle near the intersection. The truck struck the motorcycle, which caused the motorcycle to collide with the Sheriff’s Office patrol unit.
City officials reported that the motorcyclist was hospitalized with minor injuries following the crash. The sheriff’s deputy was not injured in the incident. The condition of the truck driver has not been reported at this time.
This accident remains under investigation by the Edinburg Police Department.
